The Essex River House Motel is a quiet, 15 room riverside motel located on scenic Route 133 in Essex. The motel is off the road and on the river, but close to everything. From here you can walk to the dozens of antique shops and restaurants for which Essex is famous. Two of New England's most popular seafood restaurants are adjacent to the motel. Relax and take in the stunning view of the Essex River estuary, marshes and Crane Beach. Watch the parade of boats from schooners to the small motorboats of the clammers going out to work the clam flats at low tide. The motel offers 15 rooms, some with double beds, others with a single king bed. All rooms have private baths and air conditioning, and some have kitchenettes. The Motel is convenient to other nearby towns including Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester-By-The-Sea, Salem and Newburyport.

How to Get Here
Take Rte. 95 to Rte. 128 North to Exit 15, School Street. Turn left and follow to Essex to a stop sign (approx. 3 miles). Turn left onto Route 133 and see us a short distance ahead on the right.
