Description
Built over two hundred sixty years ago the Beach Knoll Inn was one of the first homes built on Sandy Bay in the seaport town of Rockport. The home has original beamed ceilings,wide pine floors, unusual dog-eared molding, Y stairways, and a rare five foot open hearth fireplace with bake ovens. Hidden behind the fireplace is a ladder that led from the attic to a secret passage where there was a tunnel out to the beach. Most of the rooms and apartments have beautiful ocean views. Continental breakfast is served except in winter.
